Hospitals

My girlfriend's mother commented that she's convinced that when you get into a hospital, they try to "do away with you" - referring to all the meds, and the food which is often not terribly healthy.

:) :) he he!

  1. I second the comment by your girlfriend's mother, having recently been a "guest" in one of the supposedly top hospitals in the U.S. (Emory University Hospital)...

THE FOOD IS AWFUL, UNHEALTHY, TOO SALTY(POISON) ETC.ETC. And medications have to be double checked by the patient's family and friends...side effects, wrong dosages and so on...

  2. I tell ya what! From my recent experience this past year, the large highly-touted hospitals do not give the best care. Small 'specialty' hospitals are definitely the way to go! Large hospitals have Emergency-Room service and people sick with contagious conditions, etc. Specialty hospitals have only healthy people coming in for a specific surgery. Plus the bureaucracy is so much better in the small specialty hospital as well. If you get stuck in the large hospital's billing system with an error (and it's the norm), you've got quite a battle ahead of you!
