Funny - I find myself, infrequently, but persistently, thinking back to one of our first little trips together. I took Pammie out to one of my historically favorite little Fall get-aways: Little Switzerland. There really isn't much to it, and the hotel isn't the most posh (in fact some of the rooms are downright *old*). But it's up in the Appalachians, and the hotel has a very pleasant lobby in which to relax, have a hot tea, sit by the fire, read a book, and look over a really great view.
So the moment I keep replaying in my head is when Pammie and I were browsing the local bookstore setup in an old house. Tons and tons of books in lots of different rooms. That's all there is to the memory. Not much really. Just casually wandering the store together.
I guess I very much enjoyed that moment, and the thought of it brings a warm feeling to my mind.

Life Lessons
as i have learned...
in life we usually get the test first,
then we get the lesson later...---Leonard Ruden.
